Route American Steakhouse and Grill

Food was amazing. We had a mix of burgers and steak. All were cooked perfectly! Good quality food and value for money. Four people with 2 alcoholic drinks for under 90. Staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely decor. It was fairly quiet when we went, but atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely return.

We called in on our way home at 3:30pm there were two other families dining at the time. We were greeted with a smile from the waitress and could pretty much choose our own seats.The decor is lovely to look at, the walls full of memorabilia. We ordered our drinks which arrived swiftly and ordered four mains.Considering how quiet it was, the main courses took a little long to arrive than expected but they were worth the wait, very tasty and presented well.The prices seemed slightly above average, it wouldn’t put us off going back though. My only negative or constructive criticism would be the condition of the men’s toilets, not the most inviting and I expected them to be in better condition

We always have an amazing meal at this very underrated restaurant.The food is amazing, the atmosphere is cool and the service is second to none.The Rib Eye Steak was succulent and cooked to perfection..You would not expect this amazing place to be at the back of Fuel station but do not let that put you off...the saying 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' fits well here.Great work team

Food was very tasty, best hot dog I have ever had. The other family members food was amazing too. Shame they never had Coffee Latte, but all good, will go again.

Second time coming here and forgot to pre-book, so I messaged on fb and they took the booking no issues, a nice warm welcome, we were shown our seats and given the drinks and food menu, obviously it's a steak we go for ribeye, food took about 25-30 but it was a Saturday and only made us hungrier, the manager will stop and chat and is lovely, the food is delicious the best steak ive had, we also went for the chilli cheese chips and thats like a chilli con carney not spicy at all but is so good, my wife is fussy with meats and she ate hers with no issues, now the food was beautiful you won't be disappointed, i want to go back again right now haha.

You must visit this place,Portions are massive honestly I'm really surprised,I had the ultimate mac n cheese and I was blow away with how much flavor their was and how sucliant the pulled port on top was it was mouth watering, the staff are really friendly and not too in you're face but I never felt likw I was forgotten about, proper cooked food compliments to the chef when I go next time I will get more pictures

We visited again last night (we’ve been many times before), this time as a table of 10 and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff are always lovely and food is incredible. You get some much choice and even when you’ve picked what you want there’s further ways to customise it with side and sauces, it feels very authentic. They’ve never held back on the portion size either which is great!!Would always recommend this place!
